    Mecha Quarz Votre Chrono

    The appealing design and the VK64 mecha quartz movement from Seiko were decisive. I haven't had a timepiece with this type of movement before, so I was very interested in it. It runs mecha-mega precisely through the quartz. The mechanical system does not allow the stop pointer to creep quite as smoothly as with a purely mechanical watch, but that is well known. Nevertheless, you have the need to keep the pointer running the whole time. It stops automatically after one hour. The design is really successful. The dial with transverse striped recesses and sun-brushed colors looks great. The two totalizers, 24 hours a day at 3 o'clock, minute counters at 9 o'clock, are also sun-brushed. The date is 6 o'clock. Like the metal band, the case is brushed lengthwise and therefore looks very elegant. Thanks to the wide strap connection, the watch fits snugly and comfortably on the wrist. Another plus point for me personally was the color petrol.

    This is already my second Detomaso, a Sorpasso chronograph (2019), this watch is also top notch and I am extremely satisfied with it.
